Plus the fact that there are changes to the motherboard all around, too. Faster DRAM, up to 1GHz front end bus speed for the processor(s), 8x AGP slot for the video card... Just dropping a G5 upgrade into one of our current G4 systems would not get the benefit of all the possible speed increases!
