Not sure if we are talking about different things or maybe I didn't make myself clear. I think this above is somewhat what I have already, i.e. I CAN use AppleScripts via iCal (I have a specific AppleScript calendar in which I put nothing else than scripts to be triggered). But I know too little myself about AppleScript to have iCal automatically use PowerMail when sending out a notification for upcoming events, and I can not just replace the scripts in the iCal folder with Wayne's script as those now in the iCal folder are already modified scripts and I then would loose those modifications, which I don't wan t to happen.
