The problem with most mailers that have timed purging of trash (including the PM scripts) is that they are based on the sent/received time of the message.
So, if I have a message in my inbox for 2 or 3 months and then, whilst cleaning up my inbox move it to the trash, the message will likely be deleted the next time the purger runs. What I really want is a message attribute called "last filed date" which is updated whenever a message is moved from one folder to another. Then...I can delete messages that were moved to the trash more than 5 days ago rather than messages that were received more than 5 days ago. Much, much, safer.... /lss -- Larry S.
