Greetings to all on the list from a Eudora user still in the process of
switching over to PowerMail (and upgrading to OS X).

It occurs to me that Eudora has a Return Receipt button that allows you
to attach a request for a return receipt to a mail. When it receives a
mail with such a request, it presents a message saying "click this
button to send your notice of receipt" or some such.

Of course, I have never used this function to request a receipt. I have
sent receipts to at least one correspondent who has requested them on a
couple of occasions, however. I suppose it could be handy in some
circumstances, but it depends a lot on whether the people you're writing
to can be bothered to press a button...

I wonder if this is the sort of thing Bob is talking about?
