Under General prefs there is an option to file sent mail in any folder. If you're referring to the message that you have replied to then there is an option upon quitting to file "read" mail in a folder. >Sent Mail >Will sent mail go to a folder? The default action is to stay in the Out Tray. Using the above mentioned pref you can file sent messages to any folder you create. >Mailing lists >I subscribe to a lot of them, and I don1t want my sent mail mixed with >replies to mailing lists, I want my mailing lists in a folder. Entourage >allows file messages I send to this mailing list in this folder, can this be >achieved in Powermail? It can be done -- I think. If you let your sent mail stay in the Out Tray and not go to a special folder then you can create outgoing mail filters keyed on the mailing list address to move the message to the mailing list folder. >Any other switchers from Entourage who really liked Entourage and now use >PowerMail, please speak up, thanks again. I'm a convert from Entourage, which I adored. PM doesn't do everything that Entourage does but with AppleScript many things are reproducible. As an example, PM doesn't do internal bursting of digests. I was able to create a set of scripts (which can be found at the link in the sig) to burst non-MIME digests. PM doesn't do MIME digests well and they are significantly variable so that scripting a solution is not likely. So I changed my prefs to those lists that sent MIME digests to send non-MIME digests.
