I'm new to PowerMail and to this list, planning to migrate from Claris
Emailer which I have used since the ink was still wet on the Declaration
of Independence (well, it SEEMS like that long ago). I'm using an iBook
800 running OS X 10.2.1. It appeared that I could import my entire
Emailer address book and mail database, but the import stops after around
275 messages have been imported, and I get an "Error 1704" message. I
"OK" the message but the progress bar seemingly continues, although there
is, in fact, no further importing going on. I can't cancel that progress
bar, though it has a cancel button. It just doesn't respond, and I have
to force quit the program.

I know that there is a 200-message limit to the trial version's database,
but I thought that was only the limit at which point I can no longer send
or receive mail. Is that 200 limit (though it accepted 275 before the
error message appeared) the reason for my problem, and is the behavior I
described acceptable in the PowerMail community? Might my experience
signal a problem which won't necessarily disappear once my $49 appears? I
appreciate any insight you might be able to offer this PowerMail newbie.
