I just noticed something odd; I have a filter set up so that, whenever I receive a particular newsletter, the image attachments that always come with it get stripped off and moved to the finder trash. However, when this happens, the trash icon in the dock (yup, I'm on OSX, 10.2.6) doesn't update and so continues to appear empty (this assumes that it was empty in the first place of course. Looking in the trash shows that the files are there, but still the icon shows empty.
