Right.. The first thing I always try to do is find a way to reproduce the problem.... Which is what I did in my prior email.....
You are 100% right about this one message getting stuck problem... I cannot pin it down as to when it happens, it's rather randomly, but I believe it may be related to it not being able to connect with the SMTP server (in my case because it might be timing out?).. But, in another case which someone emailed be about off-list it is because of a firewall issue... If I am right, a simple fix would be to have Powermail not try to send email when it is retrieving email.. And to fix the "send waiting messages" so that it will actually "send the waiting messages", even if they failed due to this error.... It is really frustrating to keep clicking "send waiting messages" and have it not do anything.... If that just worked it would be enough to get by with (at least for me).... In any event, it causes a problem and confuses powermail..... I have it set to "NOT send or receive emails simultaneously", but to "send immediately".... - Greg >I think we are zoning in on the problem and thus then a possible working >solution. > >"it is trying to send while downloading" - I am SURE that here lies the >problem, as you say that you are not cancelling outgoing emails (which >could also cause a hickup). > >One messages get stuck in the waiting status, you know that everything >after this will get stuck too. The next step would be to find out at >which point EXACTLY this outbox gets stuck.
