I'm running a couple of eLists using Macjordomo for OSX. (A freeware list
server found at <http://macjordomo.med.cornell.edu/>).

There are limitations in Macjordomo's capability to bounce mails back to
senders who may have sent a mail to a list using an address that isn't
subscribed etc. You can just enter an email address i one "problems to"
field = I get these kind of bounced messages to an address of my choice.
The person sending the message that bounced will *not* get any message.

But - Macjordomo writes messages like "OnlySubscribers elistname" as a
first body line when sending an email, which makes it real easy to have a
mail filter automatically replying a specified error message to the sender.

IF PowerMail had had the option to specify body text for email filtering,
that is. Why isn't it so?

I was much surprised when I found out -- can we have it? Soon ...?
