Currently, I'm using Cyberdog 2.0 as my Mail app and
I'm interested in moving over to a mail program which
is current. PowerMail 4.1.2 has an excellent set of
features and is the mail app which I'm favoring at the
moment. However, through my test period, I've
encountered a problem importing my Cyberdog mail
trays.

As suggested, in the ctm support area, I downloaded
the MailMerger app listed in for converting Cyberdog
trays into an PowerMail importable format.

First I tried converting (using MailMerger) &
importing (from within PowerMail's Database->import
menu command) a mailbox of 72 messages. The result was
a mailbox containing one single large message was
created in PowerMail rather than a mailbox. The
messages from the Cyberdog Mailtray were stuffed into
that one single message in Powermail. As well, there
were scrambled characters/garbage text throughout the
resulting single message especially at the end of the
message.

Then I tried a simpler test with a Cyberdog Mail tray
which had three messages but got the same results.

This is a very serious problem since I have several
Cyberdog mailtrays which contain thousands of
messages. Having them ending up as single gigantic
messages in PowerMail would be most undesirable, to
say the least.

By the way, I'm using Mac OS 9.1 and Cyberdog 2.0.

Thanks,

Anthony
