In the recipients field start typing the name of the person you want to
send it to. If they're in your address book, it should auto-fill the
rest, or give you a choice. Hit return when you have the right one and it
will automatically complete the current address and start a second for
you... and a third, etc. If it's brand new, type the whole thing in and
hit return to add more. Change between To/Cc/Bcc by clicking on the
(default) "To" in the "As" column right before the name. You should get a
pop-up giving the choices.

Hit tab when you're done and the cursor moves to the message area.

The header shows that PowerMail puts them all together with commas, e.g.:
