I know, I know, everybody and his dog has a feature request. Well, here's mine: you know that bit in the General section of preferences where it gives you options to be carried out upon Quitting PowerMail? (Filing read messages and/or emptying the mail trash). well, it would be really nice if there was a third option: Run Applescript. PM is so Applescript- integrated that it seems like a missed opportunity; I could have a script that could move everything from my spam folder into the trash, ready to be auto deleted (I have PM set to empty the trash on Quit). Ideally I guess, the AS would run and complete before the other 2 (current) options were actioned.
Also, there must be other instances where an Applescript option would be useful or appropriate, only I'm too lazy to hunt through PM looking for them. Then, of course, I would have to learn how to write such a script... Rick ----------- G4/500 MHz (DP) :: OS 10.2.4 :: PM 4.1.2 :: 3 pane mode :: 768 MB RAM <www.sharkattack.co.uk>
