Dear Michel,

I agree with this one! Screen and print legibility are different things.
Also possibly saves the extra sheet of paper in the case of someone with
a long but unnecessary signature.
>4. Filter sorting

The operation of the filters depends on the order. Your filters must be
very specific to continue working after arranging them alphabetically!
Filters at the top are applied first, and so on to the last filter.
A frivolous example: This makes it possible to filter all mail that comes
from "hotmail.com" into a "spam" folder, then have a following filter
that pulls some of those back out into your "friends" folder if they come
from specific addresses belonging to people you know. (My apologies to
any hotmail users out there. ;)
The check box at the bottom called "Stop applying filters to this
message" is one way to control the flow so all messages aren't subjected
to every filter.
>5. Ability to put the outgoing mail into a specific folder

There are two options in "PowerMail > Preferences... > General" to file
mail into a single folder. The first is "upon sending a message", the
second to "file read messages" when quitting PowerMail. But...

You can do this with filters: check the "Filter outgoing messages" box. I
think you'd need two filters:
Folders:
- "Correspondent XX received from"
- "Correspondent XX sent to"
(or if these are subfolders you can select them specifically from the
popup in the Filters dialog below)
1. check- "Filter incoming messages"
conditions: if "From" "is" "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
actions: "Move message into folder" "Correspondent XX received from"
check- "Stop applying filters to this message"
2. check- "Filter outgoing messages"
conditions: if "To" "is" "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
actions: "Move message into folder" "Correspondent XX sent to"
check- "Stop applying filters to this message"
I do a similar thing to track correspondence with one person but with
only one folder, e.g.:
1. check- "Filter incoming messages"
check- "Filter outgoing messages"
conditions: if "From" "is" "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
if "To" "is" "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
Execute actions if "any condition is met"
actions: "Move message into folder" "Correspondent XX folder"
check- "Stop applying filters to this message"
Hope you find these helpful.
