Ben, I agree, I'd like to see this feature as well. I've seen this suggestion before on this list. I don't know what CTM Development thinks of it, but I'm guessing they don't like it. The implementation should be so easy that it could be done in a few minutes. That it hasn't been implemented suggests that CTM thinks other things are more important. Your idea is simple. If a message window is open when you do cmd-F it should pre-select the "in Current Message" tab, otherwise the "by Content" tab should be pre-selected. There is no need to have a non- intuitive, hard-to-remember opt-cmd-C command, when the standard find dialog could adapt dynamically to the situation. I believe it would be the correct thing to do in 90%+ of the time. Then you only have to manually change it less than one time out of tem (if my estimation is correct). Most of the time you could keep your hands on the keyboard without reaching for the mouse to set up the search parameters. As it is now, it seems I have to change it about half the time, and usually I forget and initiate a search "by Content" and since there's no way to abort it, I have to let it finish then go back and search with the correct settings. --Bill
