Dear Greg,
>So now I've got a situation where I can't read any of my email and thus
>can't get to the email which has my code in it...
This is one of the few instances where it is actually good to have
PowerMail not store attachments in the database itself, but as normal
files in the Attachments folder. The PowerMail key is a file, so you
needn't start PowerMail to get to it, but merely open the Attachments
folder in your PowerMail databases ("User Environment"-) folder and look
for the key. Then, just drag it onto the PowerMail application icon.
Granted, it can take a while to spot it in the hundreds of files there,
but in my experience the name of the file starts with the name portion of
the email address you registered with. This should do it...
I understand, however, that in these situations one is that much shocked
and in horror that you start thinking logically only some time later (no
offense intended, these things have happened to me several times as well,
and I reacted like you did!).
HTH, Christian.
