Interesting. I've never had an issue, but if I do I'll look into this. Makes me figure I should upgrade my license to StuffIt. I had been using its ZIP utility until Mac OS X built in the ZIP/Archive feature. I still get a lot of StuffIt files from people, so I'm happy with Allume (formerly Aladdin) for a drag-drop ZIP, Stuff, Tar utility...
