Thanks, Barbara.  Unfortunately, redirect works wonderfully with
messages I receive from someone else and then send on their way to
someone else.  However, it does not seem suited to re-sending messages
that I have previously sent.  

I tried using redirect to re-send, but often -- even though I change the
name of the recipient, and the new recipient's name (and only the new
recipient's name) appears in the "TO:" line before sending -- when the
message is in the outbox, and when the sent message is listed in the
"sent" file, it ends up going to the original recipient rather than the
new recipient.
