Safari 3.0 replaces the OS X html rendering core. The only incidents I've had is if I click and drag on a message to select what I want to be quoted in the reply. This unexpectedly quits PowerMail every time.
I uninstalled Safari 3.0 because there were a lot of the sites I visit opening to blank pages.
