I see. If Ben is doing fine, it must be my db. So, I compacted the db for backup purpose first then I ran low level rebuilt. Wow. PM returns in db error then crashes. At this point, PM no longer launches without crash. I restored <filename>.old files I just created with compacting but PM still crashes. Same thing under OSX10.5.1 and OSX10.4.11. PM FirstAid in any combination ends with PM crash. Removing pref file didn't help. I had to restore everything from my backup. This isn't good. I have a bomb in my PM db. Both Spam folder and PM Trash can be emptied with no problem so the bomb isn't there.
