Hi Nick, I think this happens only when you reply to an incoming message, or drag an address from a received message into a new message. That's the only way I see it happen. The address description with the "@" is provided with the received address. The one with the sort-of face (shades of PowerTalk, for those that remember that far back) are from your address book. You can see the names if you show full headers (under "View" menu). If you want them to be faces, drag the addresses into your address book. Next incoming message they'll show up that way.
