Hello,

since I prefer monospace fonts for composing my messages, I just tried Apple's
Menlo font (which is part of OS X since SnowLeopard).

But at the end of most paragraphs, I get a rectangle character – as if
PowerMail would display the line feed. The strange thing is, it's not *always*
there, e.g. it's not on on empty line and it's not there when I've got the
spell checker turned on and the last word in the line gets marked.

So, when I type:
Apple
PowerMail
qwert
asdfg
house
yxcv

… I see the rectangle after the "real" words but not at the end of the other
lines (with "qwert" etc.). Turning off the spell checker, the rectangle will
appear on these lines, too.

Here are two screenshots showing the situation, with spell checker turned on:

… and spell checker turned off:

In received messages it's the same.
When I use Menlo in other applications (e.g. a text editor) there are no
rectangles at all. Moreover, using the DejuVu Sans Mono font (Menlo is based
upon DejaVu) there are no rectangles, too.

Of course it's not an important issue. Nonetheless, is there any way to get rid
of those rectangles when using Menlo? (It *is*, in my opinion, a bit "cleaner"
than DejaVu Sans Mono.)

Kind regards,
Tobias Jung
