Thank you Jeremy! I've been finding there's a number of unusual/unexpected behaviours in PowerMail, as compared to other email clients - I'm thinking Eudora, Mailsmith, Apple Mail, Outlook (these last two being those I am the least familiar with).

Maybe I will never get to 2 GB, but the whole reason for keeping a mail store (at least for me) is to be able to retrieve any message at any given time, from within the email client itself. And as I get older, my mail store is likely to get bigger... and I'd like my email client to be able to keep up with it :-) > >What I personally wish is that PowerMail would save separate mail >folders into separate databases. My impression is that PowerMail is in maintenance mode - >it gets bug fixes and occasional minor features, but it's not going to >gain any major features in future. > Thank you for your insight. I have been wondering myself, and although folders can easily be exported individually, as Rene explained, I wouldn't want to pay for a soon-to-be-discontinued piece of software. So if that's the case, I'm afraid PowerMail is not an option for me. >I use Apple Mail on my home machine, and I would be fairly happy with >that if it was less buggy (sometimes it loses emails that it has sent or >fails to delete auto-saved drafts).
