If it is something the individual would wear out of the radiologically controlled area, it counts. Is contamination on scrubs counted as a PCE? yes Are all instances tracked and recorded as a PCE? All instances are recorded. If the contamination level is greater than 100 counts per minute on a standard frisker, it is counted as a PCE. What instances of contamination on a person or clothing would not qualify as a PCE? Less than 100 counts per minute on a standard frisker or radon daughters or noble gas even if the count rate exceeds 100 counts per minute.
