Peach Bottom is relining their torus this upcoming outage and has a few questions about the respiratory protection requirements. Blasting will be performed using metal shot.
1. What kind of respiratory equipment did your workers use who were performing blasting activities? (i.e. Sandblast helmet, MSA AbrasiBlast hood, etc.) 2. Did you experience significant increase in PCEs using hoods? 3. Were there any safety issues with hoods or airlines? Advice will be greatly appreciated.
