Subject: Powernet: Hot Spot Questions

I know the questions being asked have been asked and answered
just recently, but at the time I wasn't looking for the answers. I am asking
for a fellow technician that is working in our Corrective Actions Group, so
please answer these questions for me, so I can get the answers to him.

                Thanks in advance,

The contact radiation levels are greater than four times the 30 cm (about 12" )

As determined by ALARA based on whether the hot spot is consider low, medium,
high impact

4. If the Hot Spot is not expected to create a dose gradient in the area being
accessed, what are your actions (track / trend)?

The hot spot would be to track/trend the HS and implement actions for
removal/shielding/flushing etc, but would be considered a low impact HS and
would have a low priority placed on it.
