I was wondering if any facilities have a set dose limit to identify the term significant when it deals with TEDE-ALARA. In other words, do you have a dose limit difference that you use to establish when respiratory protection equipment or engineering controls are required. (i.e. 10 mrem) If an individual would receive 10 mrem more not wearing a respirator, than wearing a respirator do you require them to wear a respirator?
