Canberra / Tennelec 5XLB and Ludlum 2000 with 43/10 detector, we have
iSOLO but not yet in service
2. What equipment do you use for Beta smear and air sample counting?

3. What statistical tests (LAC) do you perform on your scaler counting
equipment, e.g., Chi-Squared Testing, Confidence Interval Testing,
etc.?
Chi-square test when establishing QC chart data following calibration,
daily checks of source count with +/- 3 sigma
4. Where / when do you perform long term performance checks, e.g., are
after instrument calibration, in the Cal Lab facility or at the use
location? Is this a RP Tech function or is a separate qualification
required?

5. For daily performance checks, what source confidence levels do you
use, e.g., within 2 sigma standard deviation?
source counts within +/- 3 sigma, in process of implementing option to
use +/ 3% of mean (from MARLAP manual). background values use fixed
(upper only) levels for pass / fail
