Chemistry Techs perform these activities inside posted Contaminated Areas, either a designated counter top or inside a fume hood. In both cases Contaminated Area signs CA tape are used to designate the area. Does your site have Contaminated Areas within the primary lab that are designated only by Contamination Area tape (e.g., on a lab counter where contaminated samples are handled)? Yes Does your site have contaminated areas within the primary chemistry lab that are roped off as a posted Contamination Area with a Step Off Pad?
