Fermi - TLD / Rad worker training not required to enter protected area ( even when HWC was >90 CFM). Area TLDs used to ensure / verify no limits exceeded for personnel that are not assigned a TLD.

Sent by: [email protected] Brunswick is a BWR with moderate HWC injection. Our current policy is to require all personnel entering the Protected Area (PA) to obtain a TLD and Radworker Training before entry. This includes visitors who will only be onsite for a short period of time ( 1 – 2 weeks, or less) and only enter the PA infrequently during their visit. Is this consistent with other BWRs? BWRs with moderate HWC? If not, what is your TLD/Radworker training policy for entering the Protected Area? Thanks in advance for your feedback.
