Browns Ferry is weekly on line and during outages. If we have one in
outage we do lose about 20 doors in the turbine building, however we
still have two on line.

At your site, do any of you maintain the same frequency for
these checks on-line vs. during an outage?

Browns Ferry currently conducts a weekly walk down of our Locked High
Radiation Area Doors. Based upon the use of secondary locking devices
and second party checks when securing an area we are looking at reducing
this frequency to biweekly. What frequency do you check your locked
high rad doors? Being a 3 unit BWR, we have about 100 of these doors so
this can be a dose saving measure.
