HNP - 1. When an area posting is downgraded, document a survey that justifies the posting
change. 2. When surveys indicate a High Radiation Area no longer exists, obtain authorization from RP Supervision, or designee, prior to downgrading the radiological posting of the area. a. Perform and document High Radiation Area downgrade per applicable site specific procedures. b. Note posting change in RP Shift Log once survey is completed and submitted for review. 3. When surveys indicate a Locked High Radiation Area no longer exists, obtain authorization from RP Supervision, or designee, prior to downgrading the radiological posting of the area. a. Perform and document Locked High Radiation Area downgrade per site requirements. b. Note posting change in RP Shift Log once survey is completed and submitted PERFORM the following for down posting an HRA. a. OBTAIN authorization from RC Supervision to begin down-posting the HRA. b. ENSURE RC Supervision are onsite to commence down-posting the HRA, unless waived by the Superintendent-RP or designee. c. CONDUCT the HRA down-posting.
