1.      We set ours for latched (8 cycles if I remember correctly) as a result 
of some folks stating they did not notice the iPAM-TX alarming for a 
short-duration dose rate alarm.  Just a note, you need to turn off the 
DMC-2000S feature that causes a chirp at a set dose increment - the iPAM-TX 
cannot tell the difference between a chirp ad a short duration dose rate alarm.

2.      No.  We leave that off.

following features used and to what extent (area, personnel, all, etc):


1.      Latched dose rate alarms (alarms last for 1-8 cycles)

2.      "Shake" mode (my understanding is it's a sleep mode for longer battery 
life)
