Fermi 2 requests answers to the following. Thanks in advance!

1) Does your site have an empty pockets policy for entering the RRA?
No, not for entry.

2) Does your site have an empty pockets policy for exiting the RRA?
Yes, by procedure, when exiting the restricted area (RCA), personnel are
to monitor only personal items (work packages, gloves. and all items in
their pockets except their wallet) with the Small Article Monitor (SAM) or
as directed by RP.

3) Are RadWorkers allowed to use the SAM when exiting the RRA for
personal items?
Yes, see answer to 2).

     - What items are considered personal?
 See answer to 2).

4) Does you site allow personal gloves to be monitored in and out of RRA?
 Yes.
     - Who performs the monitoring?
If the SAM alarms, RP is contacted. Non-RP personnel SHALL NOT remove the
item(s) after the SAM has alarmed, unless directed to do so by RP
personnel.

5) What restrictions do you place on routine/standard tools entering and
exiting the RRA?
Upon entry to the restricted area (RCA) all personnel shall obtain RP
approval prior to bringing any materials, tools or equipment into the
restricted area.

     - Is this delineated in your procedures?
Yes.

6) Are RP Techs responding to PCM or SAM alarms required to wear rubber
gloves?
Not required, but considered a good practice.
