1. GGNS combines the thorax and abdomen into one compartment we call the
chest.

2. See #1

3. No, we have not done measurements using the thorax and abdomen as two
separate compartments. We just haven't met the criteria to do that.

Subject: Powernet: EDEX Compartment Usage Inquiry

Nine Mile Point is conducting a dosimetry focus self assessment. Any and all
information you can provide on the following effective dose equivalent external
questions would be greatly appreciated.

1. Does your plant use all seven compartments per Regulatory Guide 8.40,
Table 1 when using EDEX (i.e. every multipack has seven dosimeters)?

2. If "No" to #1 and your site combines compartments, what locations do
you group together?

3. Has your site performed any calculations to determine the delta in
total EDEX dose using all seven dosimeters versus the overall dose using
combined compartments? If "Yes", would you be willing to share your results
with me at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>?

Thank y'all for your time. Have a wonderful day.
