Hey Dave,

We use PADS but the data is pulled down by a bridge program and put in SENTINEL
for us. As long as it's in PADS. We have a lot of short term workers from
other sites, etc. that are not in PADS for dose because they haven't been
terminated.

That being said, we don't necessarily require PADS verification prior to TLD
issue. We do require the individual to fill out and sign a Form 4 equivalent
and sign for the current years dose. Normally, RP techs don't issue TLDs, but
are trained and capable. Only the dosimetry staff is PADS qualified.

Hello all,
Currently, at Cook we have incoming radworkers document and attest to their
current year dose. We then validate this attestation with PADs immediately,
before issuing the TLD (following WBC).

Does your site require that current year dose be validated on PADs prior to TLD
issue?

Does your site allow issue of a TLD without validating current year dose beyond
attestation w/ signature?.

If your RP Techs issue TLDs after hours, are the PADs qualified?

Please feel free to add any additional info as you see fit.
Thank you all,

Dave Raye
