Columbia,

No, Collective Radiation Exposure (CRE) reduction is a top priority CGS.
Currently there is approximately 10 million dollars in approved funding for CRE
reduction projects to be completed by the end of FY 17.

Subject: [powernet] dose vs dollar

All,

Are there any plants that have basically eliminated dose reduction from their
station engineering programs for modifications. We have been told that some
de-regulated plants have decided that the emphasis due to budgets is on repairs
and that dose reduction when calculating dose vs dollar does not meet a high
enough threshold. Any comments.
