Individuals approved to perform OJT are not necessarily approved to perform TPE, to help maintain proficiency and quality. They are approved for all tasks but some are more preferential than others, instrumentation for example. At VCS, the RPM is responsible for maintenance and approval of these lists. We maintain both. The lists are broken down by the specific tasks requiring OJT/TPE for each functional area (i.e., dosimetry, count room, radwaste, etc.).
