Is anyone using aerial drones at nuclear power plants ?

Is there a place for aerial drones at NPPs?

The FAA regulations are not finalized as yet, but the regulations on UAS is set
to be put into effect this August.

Would radiological surveillance, perimeter security, inclement weather, and
other uses make drones worthwhile ?

Some DOE facilities have implemented aerial surveillance, perhaps NPPs could
benefit.

Does your site have personnel contamination monitors at entrances to your TSC
and EOF? Thanks, Benjy
