All, Palisades would like to benchmark sites for dosimetry use controls established. Issues were identified during a recent inspection where some workers had their dosimetry facing the wrong direction.
Do you attach primary dosimeter to worker with one or two devices (to worker lanyard) to prevent loss. Do you employ any special techniques to ensure the dosimeter is positioned in the proper direction for beta exposure monitoring? Thanks in advance for feedback provided.
