Everyone I invite you to submit an abstract for the HPS annual meeting this July in Raleigh, NC.
The Power Reactor Section of the HPS has Wednesday afternoon scheduled for our Special Session. We need abstracts relating to Nuclear Power Plant Operations – instrumentation, regulations, training, new construction, decommissioning, etc. I would like to see 5 to 8 fifteen minute presentations. The Power Reactor Section will also be electing new Board Members and President. For those of us whose terms have run out, keep in mind that our bylaws state that an officer serves until replaced. I will be sending out a request for volunteer officers soon, then finalize elections by the time of the HPS annual meeting at which time the positions will be turned over.
