Trojan verified the tubes were not contaminated by removing random and low
flow area tubes to verify no detectable contamination was present. That was
when the plant changed out the condensers during power operation. During
decommissioning, we used MARSIM sampling protocols and the DCGLs for the
Turbine building systems for license termination.

Subject: [powernet] condenser tube change out PWR

We are changing out our main turbine condenser tubes at Waterford 3 next
January. Has any other PWR done this? Did you do any verification that
they were not rad material? If so what did you do? We had small primary to
secondary leaks a long time ago.

Thanks,
