Comanche Peak would like to benchmark how other stations are utilizing the "RP Escort Required for Entry" and "RP Brief Required for Entry" posting inserts. In addition to HRA's our plant has been utilizing the inserts in areas that are not necessarily high dose, but infrequently accessed, therefore, not routinely surveyed.
1. Are the areas you are using the escort required insert always associated with high dose rates and infrequent access? 2. Do you use the "RP Brief Required for Entry" on not routinely surveyed RA's as well as HRA's and LHRA's? 3. When a room is posted with the escort required insert, do you require an escort with every entry even if you have an updated survey and know conditions will not change?
