John,

1. How many Units are your plants? We are a 2 unit Westinghouse PWR four
loop plant

2. How many personnel are in your departments? We have 53 full time
equivalent positions in RP

3. Of those personnel, how many are technicians? 26 Laborers? 9
Specialists? 3 Health physicist? 3 Supervisors? 6 Superintendents? 4 Mangers? 1

We are broken down into 4 groups:

ALARA: 1 Supt and 1 Health physicist, and 3 Specialist (ALARA planning)

Field OPS: 1 Supt, 5 Supervisors, 22 RP Technicians

Tech Support: 1 Supt, 4 RP Technicians (Dosimetry, instruments, sealed source,
respiratory protection, procedure writers, PIC, HIS-20)

RadWaste: 1 Supt, 1 Supervisor, 2 Health Physicist (shipping), and 9 laborers
(Radwaste, decon, protective clothing, etc.)

4. How do you deal with online decon personnel? Laborers are typically
the ones who perform on-line decon activities Are they employed by the
utility, contractors, or do you expect your in house RP Maintenance and
Operations personnel to perform the decon function during normal plant
operations? Some are utility workers, some are contractors, the site is moving
away from have house laborers to this position being all contractors

Corporate support consists of a CFAM and 2 program managers

Let me know if you need any other details.
Jim

TVA External Message. Please use caution when opening.
In the order to ensure our organization is maximizing its efficiency, I have
been tasked with performing benchmarking on other similar organizations in the
industry. If the PWR plants could respond and provide me some feedback on how
their organization is structured, it would be of great help in answering
questions for my senior management team.

1. How many Units are your plants?

2. How many personnel are in your departments?

3. Of those personnel, how many are technicians? Specialists?
Supervisors? Superintendents? Mangers?

4. How do you deal with online decon personnel? Are they employed by the
utility, contractors, or do you expect your in house RP Maintenance and
Operations personnel to perform the decon function during normal plant
operations?

Thanks for the help
