1) elapsed time between environmental collection, or end of the sample collection period, and time of counting OR 2) the midpoint of the sample collection period and time of counting ----------- During a Review of our REMP program the following was identified: NUREGs 1301 and 1302 define the environmental LLD Δt as the elapsed time between environmental collection, or end of the sample collection period, and time of counting (see NUREG 1301/1302, Table 4.12-1, notation (3)). This is different from the Δt definition used for liquid and gaseous effluent LLDs, which is defined relative to the midpoint of the sample collection period.
