Jim, information for our power point presentation, if you would like to discuss this in more detail, please feel free to email me at the address below. At ZionSolutions it is estimated that we saved over 1.1 million per year in Dose savings (depending on what value you put on saving a REM per year) and cost savings of using camera and telemetry instead of RP coverage in certain operations and areas. It is also estimated that we saved 5 to 6 REM with the RP group and another 2 REM from the D&D operations. At ZionSolutions we used more remote video/audio/data comms than any other D&D project. Along with the remote diamond wire saw, this resulted in by far the best personnel REM/MWe basis (i.e. a factor of 3 lower then Maine Yankee and SONGs Unit1). The expanded WiFi system allowed more remote systems and reduced RP personnel by a factor of 2, thus increasing the cost savings. We are going to use the lessons learned from ZIonSolutions and SEFOR projects and place a larger remote presence at SONGSSolutions – to help bring down the overall operating costs of the D&D project. I hope this helps..
