At Ontario Power Generation, we perform our own calibrations on Whole Body Counters (5 Fastscans)
As part of the Canadian regulatory environment, we participate in annual independent tests (all Canadian licensed dosimetry service providers with WBCs participate) that are coordinated and reported on by Health Canada (Federal government). If we fail either internal QA or the Health Canada tests, we investigate, correct, and retest appropriately.
