We got similar good performance doing suppression pool diving at LaSalle in Feb 2019. Connected active antenna to AWM to increase signal gain. If you just put the DMC3000 underwater and the AWM in air, the AWM will pick up to about 27 inch deep in water before signal gets too weak to be picked up by AWM. In the dive suit with some air gap and powered gain in the antenna you can get consistent reception. All dives going forward are DMC3000, powered active antenna to increase gain, and AWM. Diving activities were the last use for DMC2000 dosimeters and now we're all DMC3000. Its great to only need to support one model of dosimeter.

Used them the last outage when we cut up our Steam dryer as part of EPU. Used them with the active dive antenna and AWM. That evolution consisted of almost three weeks of diving. The updates much faster than the old system as did not have to deal with the iMUX. I was skeptical at first but after using it the last outage would not want to go back. The update time for each of the dosimeters was 4-8 seconds which was much better than we saw with the old system. Will be diving again this upcoming outage.
