Hello list, I just saw that there's a decent looking option for PowerPC-compatible chips in the form of PA Semi's PWRficient chips, though I don't know if they're in more than reference boards at this point. But it does look like a PPC chip with a future, so perhaps Solaris PPC could move in that direction? I've no idea if this has been discussed as of yet. I'm including a link to what I found, and I was originally brought there by the fact that Fedora Linux now supports this platform.
