I think IBM would be wise to get Solaris onto POWER.  A lot of us hardcore
Sun/Solaris guys (myself included) are less than impressed with Sun's
current line of hardware.  For big power these days, your choices are some
sort of x86/amd64 box or POWER.  I would run Solaris on POWER in a HEARTBEAT
if it were available.  AIX is ok, but I really don't have much interest in
learning it.  Solaris is what I love and what I grew up taking care of, so
it's what I know.

Just my thoughts.  I just think there is a huge untapped market out there
that IBM is missing out on.
