Cyril, We reviewed this post and others because we had to dive into the toolchain details. It's maybe a good time to revisit the overall topic. We ran for quite a while on the tools you put together :) but now we're building it for the first time (that was fun) to bring in changes.
We have a modifed as (debug symbol relocation errors), a solaris ld to integrate and put together a number of the crt*.o bits. We built sfw/../gcc and have added the polaris patch to get to the original point and now adding in our changes, which will accompany the next source release. What are the next tool chain related issues do you think we'll face in the short-term? I think we're finally to the point of understanding these details. Tom This message posted from opensolaris.org
